Recruit for Programs
Volunteers are needed to help with recruitment for programs by hanging flyers and distributing brochures at designated locations around town. Opportunities are available for individuals on a monthly basis to recruit for General Orientation, Follow-Up Trainings and Adult Classes. Interested volunteers should attend a General Orientation and speak with a staff member regarding Recruitment.

Catalogue Articles
TLP needs volunteers to catalogue TLP-related articles from newspapers and publications, including any articles that highlight the program and any students or board members. The articles need to be cut out, photocopied, and filed. Anyone interested in assisting with the publicity file should attend a General Orientation and speak with a staff member regarding the Publicity File.

Assist with Newsletters
The TLP publishes newsletters throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help with the following jobs:

1. Write articles
2. Run copies of the newsletter
3. Fold/stuff/staple newsletter
4. Place address labels on newsletter

Volunteers interested in Newsletter Assistance should attend a General Orientation and speak to a staff member about this project.

Time Commitment: All outreach jobs are needed on a monthly basis for about 45 minutes to an hour. Commit to one or several.

Special Events
We always appreciate the help of volunteers during our special events throughout the year. We can use your help in many different ways: from hanging posters, to event security. Please visit Special Events to see which event you’d like to help with.
